Holy Saviour is hosting a one hour vigil for the Faith Climate Justice group of Waterloo Region. This year, their monthly gatherings have been held in various churches throughout K-W.  We will hear from 2 individuals who will share personal witnesses of renewable and non renewable energy:

  • Heather Wilks Jenkins will speak of the impact solar power is having in rural medical clinics in Mozambique and Madagascar.
  • Chaniza Moneke, an international student from Nigeria, knows first hand the impact of the oil industry on rural villages.

We hope you will attend to hear how FCJ is connecting faith communities to address the climate crisis.
