A Lenten Listening Practice

This Lent, join us on Tuesday evenings at Holy Saviour, Waterloo for The Gospel by Ear — a communal practice of reading and listening to the Gospels together.

Over the course of Lent, we will read all four Gospels aloud, letting the Gospels wash over us in their entirety, received through one another’s voices. Reading aloud is always optional; you are warmly invited to come and simply listen. Feel free to bring a small, quiet craft — knitting or handiwork is welcome — and join us for tea and snacks shared throughout the evening.

Each reading is offered as a gift; the heart of the gathering is not study or discussion, but shared attention — hearing the living Word as it is received in community.
